Masjid Umar Bin Khattab’s vision to support this mosque and to work toward a greater project for the construction of an Islamic centre for the Muslim community in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

Mission Statement

The primary objective of Masjid Umar bin Khattab is to offer the Muslim community a place to worship Allah. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Muslims and non-Muslims through education and community outreach. A dual vision for educating both Muslims and non-Muslim in an attempt to counter distortions and misconceptions about Islamic beliefs and practice. To demonstrate the Islamic origins of modern values like the rule of law and sciences. To promote Islam as a source of enlightenment and to promote those values that bring about a healthy society.

Become a member

A large membership base is the key to the success of any organization. Are you and your family Masjid Umar Bin Khattab members yet? Your spouse and children over 16 years qualify to become members. It will be a great community service on your part if you consider enrolling them for membership. This is a good deed for our community and the faith. Do your part make the Muslim community strong.
